Congratulations to the Gibson Trophy side who have moved through to the semi final of the Gibson Trophy competition with a 2 ½ – ½ win over Beverly Park yesterday at Twin Creeks. In what can only be describe as a hard fought contest, all players dug deep to secure the team win. The side now waits for the outcome between the Bexley and Riverside Oaks match (delayed due to darkness) to be completed before the venue can be determined. The semi final will be played on Sunday 8th October. Best of luck in the semi finals gents!
Our next Working Bee will be held on Tuesday 19th September. We have placed a sheet on the notice board and would appreciated those that will be able to support the day to place their name on the sheet. The idea of the list is to give the course Super-Intendant the opportunity to nominate the work that can be carried out on the day by the number of people attending. Meet at the shed at 7.30am
On Monday 4th of September, the course staff will be removing the fencing surrounding the new Practise Green. The green will still be out of play, and players will need to go to the drop zones if their ball finishes behind the demarcation line which will be in place. Everyone is asked to continue to treat the Practise Green as ‘under construction’ and avoid walking on it where possible.
Congratulations to participants, organisers and sponsors.
