Due to heavy overnight night rain NO CARTS will be allowed on the course today On Behalf of the Course Super
The Course Super will allow carts onto the course tomorrow Thursday 8th June however, it’s is very wet and all members are requested to ensure that carts remain in the rough and on the high side of fairways. When you have to cross a fairway pick a dry spot and cross at a 90 degrees angle. Course staff will be around the course please follow any direction given, failure to stay in the rough may result in you being asked to leave the course. Ross Butcher On Behalf of the Course Super
Members are advised some greens were aerated this week ( 2,7,9,13 ) The rest of the greens will start to be aerated next Monday followed by rolling next Thursday or Friday. We realize this is not ideal but due the moisture underneath and the lack of sunshine to dry them out the aerating process needs to be carried out. Ross Butcher On Behalf of the Course Super.
Carts will be permitted today however THEY MUST remain in the rough. If carts aren’t keep in the rough today this will impact on future decisions when wet weather is an issue.
A decision on golf carts for tomorrow’s play will be made at first light tomorrow. This will largely depend on the volume of rain received overnight tonight. Regards On behalf of Andrew Moon Course Superintendent

Dear Members Over the past few months with Corinne joining us as golf professional we have identified a few issues with the booking of tee times on our Monday and Thursday competitions. Over the years the system for booking your tee time has evolved with the staff that have looked after the Proshop. Unfortunately this has created a situation where some members are not looking after their own bookings. This is creating problems and frustrations on competition days with Members not turning up when expected, constant changes to groups of players and in some very isolated cases inappropriate behaviour and blame being shown to our staff in the Proshop. The system needs to be reset to a standard way of doing things. Like all golf clubs, bookings are the responsibility of the member(s) who wish to play. The club also understands we have a number of members who may not have access to the internet. The new system needs to be able to cater for all members and attempt to meet everyone’s needs From Monday the 8th of May 2017 the Proshop will be implementing a new booking system for Monday and Thursday competitions. There will be a printed blank…
We have had to move the next Working Bee to Tuesday 23rd May Regards Ross Butcher
