With the club house in sight, there is still some work to be done before signing-off on the round. The seventeenth plays longer than its yardage due to the uphill slope of the fairway. The thick trees to the left of the fairway begin with a large gum that can be a problem for players with a left to right ball flight as they fade the ball back to the fairway. The uphill second shot often requires an extra club to be taken to reach this well protected, two tiered green. Pot bunkers short-right and another sand trap on the left require a true strike to avoid trouble. The step in the green will make for a challenging putt if the ball and hole are on separate levels.
