A good round can be either consolidated or unravelled on the final two holes and as the longest par three on the course, the eighteenth will keep players working hard until the final putt drops. A solid tee shot is required as anything short presents a challenge with chip shots tough to stop on this green. Taking too much club off the tee could result in a second shot from one of two wide bunkers behind the green. A bunker to the right of the green is also in play for a shot fading off-centre. A par here offers a rewarding finish to the round but with the green being one of few at Leonay that is wider than it is deep; long side-hill putts are not uncommon.
