ANDREW MOON (Course Superintendent)

Completed apprenticeship at Leonay and stayed on as qualified greenkeeper (2001-2006)

Qualified greenkeeper North Ryde golf club (2006-2007)

Qualified greenkeeper and Assistant Superintendent Penrith golf club (2007-2012)

3ic Stonecutters Ridge (2012-2013)

I proceeded to leave the industry towards the end of 2013 to take up a opportunity of having my own business ( AJM Lawn & Garden Care) which was great for a change of not being on golf course and being able to do my own thing and being in a variety of different work sites each day. I was then given the chance to come back in the middle of 2014 to help out with the gardens around the clubhouse for a few hours a week ( I was also a club sponsor at this time with my business ). These few hours a week went from 6 hours to 20 while helping out on course to then the full circle of getting put on as Assistant Superintendent.

Assistant Superintendent Leonay golf club (late 2014 – July 2016)

3ic Stonecutters Ridge golf club (July 2016- April 2017)

Then finding my way back to where it all started at Leonay golf club as Superintendent from April 2017.

BEN BRECKENRIDGE (Head Professional)

Started playing golf as a junior member of Leonay golf club at age 10, representing Leonay across Encourage Shield, Junior Pennants, Mixed Pennants, Eric Apperly and in the A Grade Pennant Team.

Started a PGA trainee-ship once I turned 18 in 2009 at Leonay Golf Club under Wayne Worthy which I completed in 2011.

I then left Leonay to begin playing professional in 2012 where I had some varied successes finishing as rookie of the year in 2012, whilst perusing the tournament scene I was offered the Head Teaching Professionals job at Penrith Panthers Driving Range 2012 which then lead into me taking up the role of Assistant Golf Professional at Richmond Golf Club from 2012-2017.

I was then offered the Head Professionals position back here at Leonay mid way during 2017 which I was excited about and accepted as I was coming back home to where my golfing career started.
