The first of two consecutive short par threes, the thirteenth offers rewards for a well placed tee shot. Shots to the green need to negotiate pines to the left and right which can be either in or out of play depending on the hole placement. What the thirteenth gives up in length – it gets back in a green with some of the most challenging breaks on the course. Down-hill putts are usually slick and should be treated with respect so the key is to leave the ball below the hole to take advantage and have a good chance at birdie.
