Once again, it is time to make a decision between laying up to the corner of a par four or going for glory with an ambitious drive taking on the corner. In a case of risk versus reward; thick tall trees on the right hand corner of this dogleg will punish anything in their direction that is less than perfect but a short pitch to a long, multi-tiered green is the benefit of getting around the bend. Hole placement on this green makes a big difference to the birdie opportunity that is a real chance after a well placed tee shot. The front half of the green offers relatively easy access for approach shots compared to the top tier of the green which has a small landing area and proves difficult to get shots close.
